Description

With modern construction and building methods bats need new habitat, as many of their traditional roosts have been lost during recent years. This bat box is the ideal shelter for many species of small bat. Made from timber with a zinc covered roof for added durability. The narrow entrance slot prevents draughts and discourages predators. The bat box can be used on trees or buildings. In trees the bat box should be positioned around 5m high. On buildings hang in a sheltered position out of direct sunlight, close to the eaves is ideal.
