Based on denatured alcohol to provide a slow release of natural fragrance into your living space, only organic essential oils are added, unlike other commercial reed diffusers in which the fragrances are synthetic. Once opened, the reeds soak up the fragrance from the essential oils and the alcohol evaporates slowly to give a long-lasting, safe air freshener that needs no spraying or flame. Please Note: If you wish, you can take the reeds out of the bottle and screw the lid on for later use, but do make sure you wrap the reeds in kitchen paper to avoid damage to wooden surfaces from the alcohol.
