The T1 is available not only with low power laptop hard drives, but with ultra high speed Solid State Drives or with cheap, internally mounted Compact Flash cards for customers who can't afford the inevitable failure of a moving part.
Fanless and Silent

You won't have to worry about the fan failing either, since the T1 is passively cooled. No fan means no noise either (you only know it's on from the LED). Even the laptop hard drives we offer only make a slight whir when they boot.
A 12V DC Input

Ideal for use in cars, boats, or caravans. A 12V DC Input also makes it ideal for solar installations as it can run off a Direct Current battery and avoid a wasteful inverter.
Runs Ubuntu or Windows 7

Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) is included as standard and requires no drivers, but it can easily run Windows 7 and we're offering it with Windows Vista Home Premium, with a free upgrade to Windows 7.
VESA Mountable

The T1 includes 4 mounting screws, allowing you to directly attach it to any standard VESA Mount (100 mm x 100 mm), whether on a monitor or even flat screen television.
