Description
A lovely gift of beautifully fragranced soap hand-made on Exmoor, together with a pack (not sent loose as in the photo) of approx. 50g of Cornfield Annuals seed which can be sown in Spring or Autumn, in a natural jute pouch with a drawstring.
The soap contains no added colours nor sodium lauryl/laureth sulphate and the jute pouch has been ethically sourced.
The seed comprises Common Poppy, Cornflower, Corn Chamomile, Corncockle and Corn Marigold - all annual species that will come into flower in the first summer after sowing. Factors such as when the seed is sown (autumn or spring) and the soil conditions will affect which of the flowers you get most of. As these are annuals they flower and die in the first year and you have to disturb the ground (e.g. rake or rotovate) in the autumn for the seed to then germinate and produce flowers the following year.
