During the day the exterior mounted high quality weatherproof solar panel converts daylight into electricity and recharges the AA Ni-Mh batteries within the light unit. Using the light cord the light can be turned on and off as required and at full charge the light will stay illuminated for 1.5 hours.
This unit is designed as support lighting and is not a direct replacement to 240V mains lighting system.

Running time is dependant on the solar panels exposure to sun and will vary with the seasons, for maximum running time the solar panel should be positioned in full sun sun away from cover and shade.
