I made this storage ottoman from a drawer of a tossed out desk, feet from a tossed couch, leftover faux alligator fabric and batting, stain, and hinges I got from a resource Center for $2. The total cost for this project was $7 and a few hours. I could only load one picture, so I did the after. I believe this is not public, so the before is on my page at www.redesigndiva.com
Thank you for this competition!

Thank you for the kind words, Maddy! It just breaks my heart to see furniture thrown out on the street. I wish I could save it all!

I know what you mean, its awful that people won't even go to the bother of trying to find a charity to use the item as it was intended!
I think its great you make all these pieces, I went on your website and loved your gallery! Its inspired me to keep my eyes peeled for any furniture thrown out that I might salvage for a project

What are tags? Tags are essentially categories and are the key words that people use to describe their listings or articles. Any word can be used as a tag except for ones that are naughty and would probably not be repeatable in polite company.
