In Season in June

Oh my, but June is an amazing month when it comes to cooking and eating. In fact, we don't think there is another month when there is more new stuff to look forward to, so here's hoping you're hungry!

Other dates for your diary are Father's Day and the Midsummer Solstice (June 21st), and the start of Wimbledon (June 22nd). Anyone for tennis?!

Coming In:

Beetroot, Blackcurrants, Blueberries, Broad Beans, Calabrese Broccoli, Cavolo Nero, Cherries, Courgettes, Cucumber, Garlic, Kohl Rabi, Peach, Potato, Red Currants, Samphire and Swiss Chard.

Going Strong:

Apricot, Asparagus, Aubergine, Carrots, Cauliflower,  Fennel, Globe Artichoke, Gooseberry, Lambs Lettuce, Lettuce, New Potatoes, Onions, Pak Choi, Peas, Pepper, Radish, Raspberries, Rhubarb (outdoor variety), Rocket, Sorrel, Spinach, Spring Greens, Strawberries, Tomato and Watercress.
